On Site review is published twice a year, in the summer and the winter.

New issues are published here, on this site, for you to read. However, many people want a printed copy of their On Site reviews and because of the cost of printing and mailing, we ask that you either order single copies or subscribe for a year through PayPal.

Back issues are $5 each, and for these, just contact us and we will tell you how to get one, or two, or most of them.

annual subscription for two issues, summer and winter:

Canada $36

US $56 This $20 surcharge to the basic $18/issue is entirely due to the cost of postage, which is around $10/copy.

International $76 The cost of postage for a copy posted outside Canada or the USA is $19.60. We used to send copies out at publication rate which is actually surface mail, but rarely did these copies reach their destination addresses, especially in Italy and Mexico.

If you are attached to an institution, with a library, consider approaching the serials department to see if they might subscribe to On Site review. We are listed with EBSCO, the predominant educational library subscription service, under On-Site Review, publisher # 3371594, publisher Field Notes Press. https://www.ebsco.com

University libraries in general subscribe only to journals recommended by their faculty or student associations. Cold calls from us, with or without sample issues, go nowhere.

Some background:

Over the life of On Site we have had more than 600 contributors, and we would like to think we’ve been useful to many of them, at some level. Although all the back issues of On Site review are available as flipbooks to read on our website, as is the current issue, this is something of a niche audience. Appearing in universities, schools and public libraries expands our readership greatly. On Site is a service, it throws out ideas to students, interns, faculty, interested people: it makes connections.
